What problem it solves
A gift card sold is money collected for service you have not yet delivered. If the balance is not tracked accurately, nobody knows how much is still waiting to be spent. The module issues cards, redeems them and keeps each card's balance in view.
How it works
Issue a card with its amount.
The guest presents it with their code; look the card up by code.
Redeem the right amount against the bill.
If something needs fixing, adjust the balance or disable the card.
