No. Scanning the QR code opens the menu directly in the phone browser. There is nothing to install and no account to create.

Can guests pay from their phone?

Yes. You can enable order-and-pay so guests settle from their phone through Stripe, or use QR ordering with payment taken at the POS. You can also offer the menu for browsing only.

Where do the orders go?

Straight to your kitchen display and POS, in the same queue as dine-in and online orders, so nothing is transcribed or duplicated by hand.

Do I need special hardware for QR ordering?

No. You print the QR codes yourself and guests use their own phones. On your side it runs on the same tablet or computer as the rest of Tablezio.
